Murals

  • How much does a mural cost?

We base our price on a few different variables - square footage of the surface, complexity of the art, and also take site logistics into consideration. To get a quote please contact us!

  • Can we see the art first?

We require a deposit before our design work begins. Once that process is started, our team will work closely with you to create a design package which includes 1-3 options. We do allow and accept revisions to be made.

  • How long does a project take?

Generally the consultation & design process takes between 2-4 weeks. Once the artwork is approved, projects are scheduled asap. Painting usually takes between 1-7 work days. We pride ourselves on working efficiently, with quality always in mind.

  • How long will a mural last?

Weather conditions and general wear and tear over time affect the lifespan of a mural. We make sure to prep the painting surface very effectively. We use premium quality paint products to help ensure longevity. Additionally, we do offer a UV protective clear coat for exterior & interior projects, that will help protect and ensure the pieces lifespan.

Design

  • What do design packages entail?

Design packages can vary from what is desired! StraightEdge Creative can work to create a full rebrand or a new fresh branding for a new business. Packages can be simple and contain only the essentials needs for a brand such as a logo and lockups, typefaces, and colors. Bigger brand packages can include custom branded assets such as merchandise, office stationery, packaging, large-scale decals and wraps, social media templates, website design, and of course brand guidelines.

  • How long is the design process?

The process is dependent on the size of the design package request. Generally, we like to have a design package request finished in 3-4 weeks. The duration of much more grandiose projects like brand enhancements can be up to 12 months long.

  • How does the process begin?

StraightEdge Creative begins with a consultation and works to create “Stylescapes” from the information gathered in the consultation. These Stylescapes are not for commercial use but act as a moodboard in the consultation process and give us and the client a visual idea of where the overall look and tone of the branding should head.

  • How is the design package delievered?

StraightEdge Creative will deliver the design package through a file sharing site such as Google Drive or Dropbox. The shared folder will contain a neatly organized file system of the assets’ PNG and JPEG files. The brand guidelines will outline what was included in the package and how the items and assets should be used. Printing processes of items are usually left up to the client to fulfill with the given files. Items such as social media templates will be delivered as an Adobe Indesign file unless specified otherwise.

  • How do we fix something I am unsatisified with?

StraightEdge Creative will always be there to ensure your satisfaction with the work being provided. That being said, we may charge more for a brand package or brand enhancement if there is a stage in the process that we need to repeat to satisfy the client’s vision for the brand. Tweaks such as spelling, removal of verbiage, text, or objects, typeface adjustment, or color adjustments are not grounds for an up charge but if the entirety of a stage within the brand package must be revisited and revised, then we may charge due to the repeated stage impacting the other stages of the brand package process.

  • Can we return to an older stage in the brand package creation?

Once a stage has been completed and StraightEdge Creative has moved onto the next stage in the brand package process, we will not revisit that previous stage. A stage can only be revisited upon immediate completion when the client is consulted for feedback on that stage. We simply cannot return to previous stages due to the large impact that changes of a single previous stage of the process will have on later stages. We want to foster confident and intentional choices in the branding created, rather than nervous and indecisive branding.
